Among the many challenges facing today in Nigeria, youth unrest and violent crime that is probably painful. Although reliable data are lacking, local media, that half of Nigeria’s young population of 148 million people, 95% are unemployment1. Decades of economic stagnation and poverty have conspired to drive much of this figure to crime and violence from the beginning. There is no doubt that the long-term objectives of the country permanently is its ability to recover the power of youth unrest and mobilize its economic potential associated.

Basic challenges

Before arriving to fight in the way against youth unrest, it is important to examine the development challenges facing Nigerians in general and youth in particular.

* Deficit of the country’s infrastructure runs into billions, a situation that seriously hampers business development.
