Summer Reading Program Activity Idea # 1: A party under the sea in the library
Turn on the library section of young people in a magical sea-bed and invite young readers to a party “under the sea.” Pure blue fabric draped across the ceiling and walls with fish, starfish and other sea creatures is the stage for a section of water set decorated. Play fun games on Ocean and Caribbean music for children to dance will help the party fun and alive.
Summer Reading Program Activity Idea # 2: racing foam
A boat race foam is organizing a simple and fun for all ages “summer reading program activities, inspires creativity and is very comfortable. After the boats were dried (during dry season, you can spend time with one or two stories of sailing), it is time to test them in water. Children can swim in the pool boats and you can create a “boat parade” host, or you can have children race their boats by the pool or trough. You can give prizes for drawings vessel to win the race and fun. The children can take their house finished boat with them, or you can admire the boats ready to be in the range of children in the Library of Michigan Library for all visitors.
Summer Reading Program Ideas for the activities of third Celebrate the Great Lakes
Is there a better way to get waves in your library summer reading the Michigan program to make the water all around us celebrate in the state of Michigan – The Great Lakes. As part of a “Day of the Great Lakes to your summer reading program, your library, the authors of books about the Michigan Great Lakes and Sleeping Bear Dunes highlight. Many local authors are willing to come to their time and their stories of growing up in the Great Lakes State volunteers.
Summer Reading Program Activity Idea No. 4: Water Protection Day
After one day the library reading program was devoted to the importance of water as a natural resource is one way to think young readers of Michigan water to a different way. Hands on demonstrations on water conservation and the importance of clean water can show children that there are things they do to help clean water can. Check to see with your local utility companies, nature centers or parks and recreation, whether it is a program to enrich awareness / conservation of water resources, they could make in your library.
